Keynote Speaker: Tom Black

Tom Black is the Vice President & General Manager for Enterprise and SMB switching products. He leads the combined Software, Hardware/ASIC, Product Management, and Operations teams for that business unit.

Tom has more than 20 years of experience in networking, leading hardware, silicon, and software teams across a broad range of technologies. Prior to joining Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company in 2013, Tom was at Arista Networks, where he was responsible for strategy, product management, and engineering for software-defined networking (SDN).

Prior to Arista, Tom spent 13 years at Cisco in leadership roles spanning Service Provider and Enterprise, and from Layer 1 to Layer 7. He was an industry pioneer in packet over Optical networking products, drove strategy, architecture and early execution of large SP Routers, and led the teams that delivered several product lines in the L4-7/Application networking segment. Tom joined Cisco via the acquisition of Cerent, where he was the lead Software Engineer for data products. Tom was also a member of the low level software team for the first generation of HP ProCurve switches.

Tom holds a bachelor of Computer Science and has four issued patents.

No, this is a free event for qualified partner salespeople and engineers, Aruba customers and prospects.
